To the Death! (2023) - short screenplay

In To The Death!, unequal power dynamics shape an absurd ping-pong battle between Man and Woman, where classical artworks in the background reflect the historical male gaze and game rules are recited by a booming voice via a reel-to-reel player.

The stakes were never higher when it is learned that the game climaxes with the loser’s death, so when Man dictates that the game must be played with an invisible ball, Woman must decide whether to adhere to Man’s rules or deny them leading to her demise.

The film is currently in-development and seeking funding to be produced.
