Everything in Waves (2023) - short film

In Everything in Waves, as a man swims laps, he relives his childhood memories of growing up with his father, who now suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. His flashbacks reveal a lifelong yearning to be understood by the man who was raising him, and his efforts to create a more meaningful connection that was never fully realized. Now as communication between the men is more limited than ever, they rely on old jokes to break the silences between them and cling tightly to what time they have left together.
